EMMA NAVARRO VS AMANDA ANISIMOVA PREDICTION

American duo Emma Navarro and Amanda Anisimova meet in the first semi-final and they have only met each other once before. That came back in 2022 at Indian Wells and it was Anisimova who emerged victorious 6-2 6-2.

Anisimova will have plenty of confidence coming into this one after her excellent 6-4 6-2 win over Aryna Sabalenka in the quarters. She has now beaten the fifth seed, tenth and second in her last three matches so facing number eight will not phase her.

Navarro has yet to drop a set en route to the semis and she comes off a 6-3 7-6 win over Taylor Townsend. The New York native won her first WTA title at the start of the year on a hard court in Hobart and she will be hungry for her second here.

Our preference just goes to Anisimova however. She is playing at a really high level this week, she has the confidence of having dominated Navarro in their one previous encounter albeit two years ago, and she can add another seeded scalp to progress to the final.
