DENIS SHAPOVALOV VS DANIEL ALTMAIER PREDICTION
Denis Shapovalov produced one of the best displays in the first round on Monday and the Canadian will be confident of putting a run together in the second week if he can maintain these levels of performance. The left-hander dominated 19th seed Nicolas Jarry and that bodes well coming into this clash with Altmaier.
The 25-year-old German has never met Shapovalov before and he has very little experience on grass. He opted out of playing any of the warm-up tournaments on grass, but that did not hamper him in the first round when he edged a five-setter against Brit Arthur Fery.
This will be a completely different ball game for Altmaier however and it is hard to see him having any joy against an in-form Shapovalov. The Canadian will win, and will win comfortably.
