CORENTIN MOUTET VS SEBASTIAN KORDA PREDICTION
Corentin Moutet will likely consider the US Open as something of a free hit especially given his tough draw against Sebastian Korda. The Frenchman is far more comfortable on clay and that is shown by the tournaments he has selected this year, and will only make the task harder against Korda.
Korda has been a little inconsistent of late but he has had some fantastic performances that have really shown how far he has come in 2024. Given how far he has gone in some tournaments, it is no surprise to see him drop off a little after that at times.
Korda will be fired up to do well in New York and he is more than capable of getting through a few rounds including this one. Expect him to brush past Moutet, potentially in straight sets.
