CARLOS ALCARAZ VS YIBING WU PREDICTION
Carlos Alcaraz is in fine form right now and he carried his performances in the China Open straight into his opener in Shanghai. The Mallorcan superstar cruised past Juncheng Shang 6-2 6-2 in his first match and now he meets another local player in Yibing Wu.
The 24-year-old Chinese player has been superb in his opening two matches beating Sumit Nagal and then Nicolas Jarry. His win over 25th seed Jarry was particularly impressive as he only dropped three games in that match.
Facing Alcaraz will be an entirely different proposition however. It is hard to see any route to success against Alcaraz and do not expect the Spaniard to ease off the gas and risk losing any momentum. A straight sets win is on the cards.
