CARLOS ALCARAZ VS ALEKSANDAR VUKIC PREDICTION

Although Carlos Alcaraz started slowly vs Mark Lajal, needing a tie-break to win the first set, before taking the second set 7-5, the Spaniard looked far more convincing in the third set having gotten to grips with the environment, triumphing 6-2. Aleksandar Vukic meanwhile, came through a gruelling five-setter against Sebastian Ofner.

Whilst Vukic will be riding high on adrenaline, it’s hard not to see his legs feeling heavier the longer this game goes on and fatigue really starts to set in. Alcaraz should therefore do as he did in the first round and steadily increase his domination. Back the reigning champion to triumph in straight sets.
