BOTIC VAN DE ZANDSCHULP VS UGO HUMBERT PREDICTION

Botic van de Zandschulp has had such a poor year on the circuit that his first-round victory over Liam Broady was arguably the highlight of his season, but overcoming a partisan crowd is bound to have given the Dutchman confidence as he seeks to build his game back up after falling to world 99 from being as high as 22.

Ugo Humbert, meanwhile, had to dig deep against Alexander Shevchenko on Monday, eventually prevailing in five sets against the 23-year-old. Humbert has reached the fourth round at SW19 in the past, his best ever run at a Grand Slam, but he will need to improve his level if he is to enjoy similar fortunes this time around.

The pair met in Madrid Open earlier this year, Humbert enjoying a straight-sets win on the clay, and the world number 16 should be favoured to progress here as well.
