THE PREDICTION

World number 23 Barbora Krejcikova made it six wins on the spin on Wednesday with a comprehensive victory over Shelby Rogers, backing-up her excellent run to the Tallinn Open title last week. The Czech will be ecstatic to have come back into for just in time for the Ostrava Open on home soil, with much of her singles season blighted by injuries and choppy results. World number 14 Belinda Bencic came back from a set down to beat a resurgent Eugenie Bouchard on Tuesday and she will be game for a quick rematch with Krejcikova after the 26-year-old beat her in similar fashion in the semi-finals of the Tallinn Open last Saturday. That was Krejcikova’s first victory over the Swiss, with Bencic leading their head-to-head record 2-1, but home advantage and the joy of rediscovering her best tennis should be able to power through to the quarter-finals. Back the Czech to win outright here or take at least a set inside an accumulator. You could consider adding at least a tiebreak here, with two played between them last week and three played in their last five sets on court.
