ALEXANDER ZVEREV VS MARCOS GIRON PREDICTION

Alexander Zverev looked comfortable in his first-round win over Austrian youngster Joel Schwartler and now the top seed faces a slightly tougher test in American Marcos Giron.

The pair have met twice before and Zverev won on both occasions so the German will fully expect to do so once again in Vienna.

Giron came through a tricky first-round match against promising young American Alex Michelsen 7-6 6-3. That came off the back of a good run at the European Open in Antwerp last week where he reached the semi-finals before losing to Jiri Lehecka.

This will be a tough one for Giron however. Zverev is better in every facet and unless he has a serious off-day, the top seed will surely progress and likely in straight sets too.
