ALEX MICHELSEN VS MARCOS GIRON PREDICTION
In a match that many were expecting to be close-fought, Alex Michelsen hammered compatriot Reilly Opelka on Saturday dropping just two solitary games in a 6-2 6-0 victory to move into the final. It was some performance by Michelsen although Opelka was particularly disappointing. After defending two break points in the opening game of the match, Michelsen put on a sensational show with his return game especially impressive.
It will be interesting to see if he can replicate that against Marcos Giron in the final here. Giron, 11 years older than Michelsen at 30-year-old, will be keen to get one over the talented youngster but that will be no easy feat. Michelsen is flying with confidence right now and he is marginally preferred but not enough to back him. We prefer the game or set betting here and over 2.5 sets is tempting in what should be a highly competitive encounter.
