ALEX DE MINAUR VS MARCOS GIRON PREDICTION
The talented Aussie Alex De Minaur is desperately hoping he is past his injury troubles as he comes into the US Open. He’s had a seriously disrupted time of it lately, which is a real shame given the fact that he had been playing some outstanding tennis when fit.
He returns to action and meets Marcus Giron who De Minaur should simply have too much quality for. It will all depend on how his body handles the rigours of a Grand Slam match and he will surely be keen to avoid any five-set marathons. There may be a little rust and this is definitely one to be cautious with given his recent record but De Minaur has to be favoured to progress here.
