World number 31 Ugo Humbert was taken out of the Estoril Open at the quarter-final stage by an in-form Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and it is hard to tell right now if the Frenchman is out of form himself or just not all that suited to clay. The 27-year-old beat Novak Djokovic in one of the best matches of the year so far last week before struggling to go again in the Serbia Open final, in which he finished runner-up to Matteo Berrettini. However, refreshed after a week off, the world number 27 will be a danger to anyone in this draw and can be backed to beat Humbert here outright.
