THE PREDICTION

Worcester Warriors look much improved from last year’s start to the Premiership season in a really strong division. They beat London Irish at home on the opening weekend of the season by 36-24 and scored almost as many points again in an enjoyable 35-29 away at reigning champions Harlequins. That performance on the road is hugely encouraging ahead of what might have been a relegation crunch match this season with Gloucester but the lack of jeopardy at the foot of the table paves the way for another likely high-scoring romp here. The visitors lost but lost well in a 26-33 defeat at home to Leicester Tigers last Friday and two bonus points from two defeats suggests some wins are on their way. Fans back in stadiums has brought the home advantage factor back into the equation of tighter fixtures and that makes taking the hosts to win outright seem the wise option here.
