THE PREDICTION
Saracens put 10 tries past a sorry Bath last weekend to leave the 17-71 victors and end the weekend in third place of the Premiership, with a game in-hand over leaders Leicester Tigers. Their only defeat so far this season came at the hand of the Tigers, who just ghosted past them at the death of a tactical masterclass in poor conditions earlier this month, but it looks unlikely they will suffer many more losses. Travelling Wasps have been one of this season’s surprise packages, though, after a torrid 2020/21 season put them out of the play-off conversation. They were 20-15 up at half-time at home to Exeter Chiefs last Saturday and they will be disappointed to have let that slip for a tight 23-27 defeat in the end. This could be closer than it looks at first glance but even then the insatiable Sarries should comfortably cover -12 for victory here.
