Sale Sharks were forced to concede their Boxing Day game with Newcastle Falcons last time out due to covid-19 cases in the camp and it remains to be seen if they can field a squad for this home tie with Wasps. The visitors grabbed a much-needed Premiership win last Sunday with a 38-30 result over in-form London Irish and they will be keen to double-down against their hosts with a depleted side likely. A lot of this match relies on who Sale can get back in time and so waiting until just before the confirmation is wise here. If they can field a decent outfit, taking them to edge this outright is probably the most sensible move but Wasps have a solid chance of a second away win this season.
