THE PREDICTION

Sale enjoyed some searing form in February to climb into play-off contention but they secured just one win from four Premiership matches in March, including two draws at home to London Irish and at Bath. Travelling Saracens will be without their talisman Owen Farrell at short notice after he came off in his first match back since November last week but they still look a considerable threat to their hosts in this enticing Friday night clash. Sale only just beat Gloucester by two points here in their previous league home game and handing Sarries, riding a three-match winning streak in the Premiership, a +1 head-start looks a reasonable conclusion here.
