THE PREDICTION
Sale Sharks sat out last week’s Premiership action as the odd team out and they will hope that their momentum remains from their incredible 29-35 win at Bristol in the Champions Cup quarter-final two weeks ago that overturned a deficit to win 44-39 on aggregate. They have a useful home fixture to get back into the swing of things, though, against a struggling Newcastle Falcons side coming off a humiliating 14-42 defeat at home to London Irish. Newcastle did win their previous trip away at fellow strugglers Worcester at the start of April but this should be a relatively comfortable affair for the hosts off the back of their most recent performance. Take Sale to cover around -12 here.
