THE PREDICTION

Newcastle Falcons lost 17-27 at home to Glasgow Warriors in their Challenge Cup play-off last Friday. They had taken a two-match winning streak into the test with wins over United Rugby Championship minnows Zebre and struggling Worcester in the Premiership but they have failed to win any of their last six league home games and London Irish have proven tough travellers in parts of this season. The Exiles enjoyed a huge 64-27 result at home to Castres in their Challenge Cup lay-off last Friday and they will hope that some of that feelgood factor spills over here as they take a three-match Premiership losing streak to Kingston Park. Irish have either won or drawn five of their 10 Premiership away games this season and that makes taking them to win outright look a reasonable move here.
