THE PREDICTION

London Irish came close to snatching a superb away win at Northampton Saints but they were denied by an excellent turn from Dan Biggar to lose their second away game of the season. A draw at home sees them low in the Premiership table ahead of this tricky clash at home to Leicester Tigers but they can be pleased with some of their performances so far, including that stalemate against Sale Sharks last month. Travelling Leicester must be on cloud nine, though, after securing their third victory of the season in a difficult test at home to Saracens last Saturday. Sarries had been dominating things tactically in the air in torrential conditions but a last-minute penalty try for the Tigers sees them with two statement wins now over title rivals after they beat Exeter Chiefs on the opening day of the season. Irish are tough to beat at home with the Exiles claiming the vast majority of their points here last season but taking the visitors to cover -3 seems a suitable move here.
