THE PREDICTION

London Irish not only secured a rare away victory in the Premiership but a famous one with a brilliant 21-33 result at struggling Exeter. That was their first win of the season and taking it home to their fans this Saturday to face another big club struggling looks like a recipe for yet another upset as Bristol Bears travel to face the Exiles. Bristol sat out last weekend as the spare part in a division with 13 teams and it remains to be seen if that break can help them stop the rot. They have lost four out of five matches played so far, with early hammerings by Saracens and Wasps outdone by a poor 13-5 defeat at Newcastle Falcons last time out. Momentum and home advantage are on London Irish’s side and fans will be eager to do their part here. Call them the +1 headstart in what could be a raucous day in Brentford.
