THE PREDICTION

Harlequins beat Montpellier 33-20 last Saturday but lost their Champions Cup quarter-final by just one point on aggregate after a 40-26 defeat the weekend before. The reigning Premiership champions do have a five-match winning streak to protect in this division, though, and they will be eager to make a statement against this season’s champions-elect Leicester Tigers. The visitors beat Clermont home and away in their Champions Cup quarter-final to make it four-straight wins across all competitions and they have lost just three home games in the league this season at Wasps, Sale and main title-rivals Saracens. Quins are certainly capable of becoming the fourth team to beat Steve Borthwick’s winning machine but backing the visitors to scrape through with a +2 concession looks the reasonable move here.
