THE PREDICTION

Gloucester were awarded a default win over Worcester Warriors after the latter could not field enough players last Friday night. The points have yet to be awarded but they should be a useful boost to Gloucester’s play-off hopes after three defeats from their last five Premiership games. Travelling Wasps snapped a three-match losing streak in the league with a 27-24 victory over struggling Newcastle Falcons but the division’s streakiest side look well off the level that saw them best Saracens and Exeter in back-to-back matches back in January. Hosts Gloucester should be able to cover at least -5 in victory here, although shaving a point or two off of that target would be sensible.
