THE PREDICTION

Bristol Bears put in a great shift away at London Irish last Saturday to upset their hosts who were coming off a huge win over Exeter. A 33-45 romp gives them a first bonus-point win of the season and takes a heap of pressure off the squad at just the right time with international stars departing. Even more perfect is their next opponents in third-from-bottom Worcester Warriors, who travel to Bristol with a poor away record. Worcester did grab their second win of the season in a joyous 27-14 victory at home over struggling Sale Sharks but they have lost their last two away days by a margin of 37 and 56 points. It often pays to be cautious on the first weekend after internationals depart but at home and tentatively on the up Bristol can cover -10 in victory here.
