THE PREDICTION
Bath came agonisingly short of an upset away at Sale last weekend and could probably have won the match with an extra five minutes on the pitch. Still, there are plenty of positives to take away from a 20-19 result at a tough place to go in the AJ Bell Stadium and they should fare better this season than their intermittent last. This is a long trip for visiting Newcastle Falcons but they too come into this match off a positive defeat after taking reigning champions Harlequins to the edge in a 20-26 loss at home last Sunday. This should be a competitive and likely open contest between two sides hoping to keep in touch with the chasing pack but Bath look capable of covering -5 in front of their own fans.
