THE PREDICTION
This looks a very intriguing match now given the results last weekend as Newcastle Falcons became just one of two teams alongside Exeter Chiefs to win both their opening matches and Wasps, who looked so good the week previous, were well beaten at Gloucester. New-promoted side Newcastle are clearly not here to make up the numbers and their defeat away to Bath in the first round of fixtures should put the fear into Wasps, who broke their seven-match regular season win streak last weekend. The result here could be close than many expect but the match looks set to go over 40 points with gung-ho Wasps involved. If that is not enough, Wasps should be the eventual winners but the Falcons have proved themselves quite the enigma thus far.
