THE PREDICTION

Wasps’ season looks to be unravelling fast after they lost their fourth match in five Premiership matches in a 10-16 defeat at home to London Irish last Saturday. The only side they have managed to beat in that span is struggling Worcester and travelling Gloucester will be aware of that as they arrive on the same points as the Warriors at the bottom of the table. In fact, Gloucester won just their second match of the season at home to Worcester last Saturday to level on 15 points each as they finally managed to transform recent good, albeit losing, performances into some points. This is a difficult result to call with much authority given Wasps’ recent form but they should still have too much for their visitors. In form, this would be a -10 to -15 situation but Wasps to win this match by covering -5 seems a fairly safe option. Especially as Gloucester have kept results very close in recent weeks.
