THE PREDICTION

Sale put a shark amongst the bears as they beat Bristol 13-20 away from home last Friday to go briefly second in the English Premiership. The Sharks pulled away with Exeter and Bristol into a neat “top three” after last weekend’s results and they can confidently establish themselves there with a useful home fixture next up. Travelling Bath are in miserable form right now and lost 15-28 at home last weekend to sit third from bottom with six losses out of eight matches played so far. They may find some respite against Gloucester In their next match after this one but a pretty comprehensive defeat away to Sale looks likely here. The hosts can cover -13 on what could be a bitter-cold evening for Bath especially.
