THE PREDICTION

Newcastle Falcons blew off the cobwebs after three-straight defeats across all competitions, and no Premiership wins in six attempts, with an enormous 52-27 victory at home to London Irish. That should concern travelling Northampton Saints, who lost poorly 7- 31 at home to struggling Gloucester last Saturday, with the Falcons well capable of finishing the season flying as high as they started it. With Saints now looking unlikely to make the play-offs with four games to go and the hosts not fighting relegation this could be a cricket score again so this match to see over 40 points in a win for the hosts seems a useful combination.
