THE PREDICTION
London Irish were level at half-time away to Leicester Tigers in an entertaining but bad-tempered game and they eventually lost in a gut-wrenching manner, 33-32 after playing with 14 men for the last quarter. The Exiles have garnered a few decent results of late, including holding the league leaders to a 34-34 thriller last month, but their position of sixth place in the Premiership table is a little misleading having been awarded two default wins for covid-19 cancellations. Nevertheless they welcome bottom-of-the-league Worcester here with the confidence that they can get back to winning ways against a side who look likely to be the team saved from the blushes of relegation this season by the powers that be. The Warriors have looked a little freer since the announcement that relegation would be scrapped this season and came so close to a massive upset in a 23-24 defeat at home to the leaders Bristol last Saturday. Worcester also know that they won one of their three games in the reverse of this fixture back in November but Leicester should still be too good for them at home and can cover -6 in victory.
