THE PREDICTION

Leicester were awarded a default victory against Northampton last timeout in the Premiership after their opponents were forced to pull out of the match due to covid-19 cases, and that should make up for their own default loss to Newcastle a few games prior for the same reasons. Including their covid-induced results, Leicester have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and looked in good form against a struggling Bath side at the start of the year. They host tough competition in Sale, however, with the Sharks on a two-match winning streak in the division after a sticky spell over December. Sale have yet to find their full groove, though, and two close victories over Gloucester and Worcester should give hope to the hosts that they can spring a surprise here. This looks closer than first appearances and Leicester could be backed to edge this match at home. You could give them a +6 head-start for some peace of mind though.
