THE PREDICTION
It was a dramatic weekend of Premiership action last time out, full of shock results and surprises apart from Leicester’s 17-3 defeat away to the current league leaders Bristol. The Tigers have failed to win away from home since mid-December in the European Challenge Cup but they have fared well at home in recent weeks with back-to-back wins at home against Worcester and Wasps. They will be confident of continuing that run as they host London Irish but the Exiles will have something to say on that matter. Irish beat struggling Wasps on Saturday to back-up a decent draw at home to Bristol the week before and this match looks likely to be settled by just a few points either way. Considering both teams have been involved in plenty of big scores this season, backing Leicester to win a close match that goes over 40 points looks the best option here.
