THE PREDICTION
Leicester Tigers were handed the default win after their match on Boxing Day was called off due to covid-19 in the Newcastle Falcons’ camp and they are technically now on a three-match winning streak after two good performances in Europe. They host a Bath side who were also awarded a default victory after similar covid-19 issues at London Irish but the visitors did not fare similarly in their European campaign. Two defeats in the European Champions Cup, one by default in this challenging climate, means they have not experienced a winning performance since a 17-33 away to struggling Worcester. The visitors will be slight favourites still to get the result here but this looks to be a very close-cut tie and Leicester could see this through with a +2 head start.
