THE PREDICTION

Gloucester’s win over Wasps a few weeks ago seems a distant memory now after back-to-back defeats, including a hammering last Saturday as Harlequins beat them 59-24. Although relegation has been scrapped this year, neither Gloucester nor rock-bottom Worcester will want the embarrassment of 12th place around their necks ahead of next season but it is difficult to see either of them accruing a respectable amount of points. Exeter Chiefs will travel here on Friday night with a three-match winning streak behind them as they chase the current leaders Bristol Bears. Gloucester have been tough to beat at home but the Chiefs can still cover -6 in victory here.
