THE PREDICTION
Exeter Chiefs know that Bristol Bears have all-but secured first place ahead of the play-offs with a winnable fixture at home to London Irish but they are unlikely to be flat for this crunch match for second place at home to Sale Sharks. Both sides are in excellent form, with the Chiefs beating Northampton 26-29 on the road last Sunday and Sale thumping Harlequins 45-12 last Friday to make it six wins on the spin each but this looks a tough ask for the away side. Sandy Park will be in full voice despite its reduced capacity and the defending champions should be able to rise to the occasion by covering a convincing -15 here to solidify that vital home game in the play-offs.
