THE PREDICTION
Reigning Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks will play an immediate rematch of their 20-19 thriller last Saturday in the play-off semi-finals here and it could be even closer this time. Exeter head coach Rob Baxter is seething over the bans that have ended forwards Sam Skinner and Dave Ewers’ seasons but they will enjoy home advantage once more in this knockout clash. The hosts have won seven games in a row since losing their last knockout fixture in the Champions Cup to Leinster back in April and they will be solid favourites to make that eight in a row by covering -5 this time around against Sale.
