THE PREDICTION

A late try for Exeter Chiefs dragged them over the line in a tough 21-20 home tussle with Harlequins last Saturday and that put a five-point gap between them in second and third place, respectively. The Chiefs are on the tails of current league leaders Bristol Bears but need to get back to their more dominative ways after some close shaves in recent weeks. Visiting Leicester are on a two-match winning streak in the Premiership and have won three of their last four games to sit comfortably in mid-table, though this trip to the reigning champions is a tougher test than they have faced in recent times. A little stunted right now, Exeter should be covering more than -12 at home to the Tigers but that seems a reasonable target to reach this weekend.
