THE PREDICTION

Defending Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs started the new season in exactly the right way by almost shutting out Harlequins on their own turf and will be right in the mood for a test at home against Bath. The visitors have their noses out of joint after a surprising loss by the returning Newcastle Falcons at home last weekend and they would have been expecting to win that match to make what is likely to be a comprehensive defeat here more comfortable. However, it should be two losses from two for new coach Neal Hatley and the Chiefs will be confident of covering -15 here.
