THE PREDICTION
Premiership leaders Bristol Bears had to come from behind against rivals Bath but left the deserved winners from a 20-40 result. They are eight points clear at the top of the table coming into this weekend’s round of fixtures and should benefit from playing on Monday ahead of nearest challengers Exeter Chiefs, who play on Tuesday evening. Visiting Gloucester have their work cut out of them but their performances have been much improved in the second half of this season and they beat Northampton Saints 7-31 on the road via an inspired display from Louis Rees-Zammit. The Bears should have too much firepower to not win this match comfortably, though, so take the hosts to cover -10 in front of limited but noisy home fans.
