THE PREDICTION

Bath put six tries past an injury-laden Newcastle Falcons to win 19-38 away from home and potentially springboard themselves back into form. They host the Premiership’s rock-bottom side Worcester Warriors in fair confidence that they can make it back-to-back wins here and level their record at 7-7 for the season so far. Two of Worcester’s three wins this season have come via covid-19 cancellations and, though they have been beaten in close circumstances throughout, they are lucky to see relegation scrapped this season after a woeful campaign so far. A record-breaking 61-yard penalty was the difference between the Warriors and London irish last week but Bath should be looking to win by more than three points in this one. The hosts to cover -8 here is a cautious but reasonable pick here considering Worcester have only lost by more than eight points once in seven matches played this calendar year.
