THE PREDICTION

Sale came off the worse in a 26-14 defeat to Toulon on the road last weekend and the Sharks have yet to hit the ground running after an excellent end to their last season. Three away games out of four played so far this season has returned just a close victory over lowly London Irish so they will be eager to keep up their home form that saw them beat Northampton on the opening day of the Premiership. Edinburgh proved to be tough opposition to break down for French Top 14 leaders La Rochelle and therefore Sale to edge this match in a result that goes under 40 points could be a shrewd option here.
