THE PREDICTION
The Netherlands lost their first match in seven when they faced Tier 1 nation Georgia in late June, conceding heavily in the second-half in a 48-15 result. They take on Portugal next with the visitors also recently losing to Georgia before a close defeat to Romania and their most recent result, a 43-28 win over Spain. The two sides are separated by just a few places in the Rugby World Rankings but higher-ranked Portugal should be able to cover -7 in victory here. It could come perilously close, though, and taking -5 would be a safer prospect with home advantage likely to help out the Dutch in Amsterdam.
