• Trinity have won their last three Super League matches in succession so they will come into this with plenty of belief despite last week’s loss, although Jacob Miller will be missing once again but Tom Johnstone could return on the wing having sat out against the Warriors.

THE PREDICTION

Wakefield Trinity have performed impressively since their slow start to the season and will look to make it four successive Super League victories as they take on local rivals Castleford Tigers. They performed well in defeat to Wigan Warriors in last week’s Challenge Cup defeat and with the Tigers struggling, an immediate return to winning ways could be on the cards for the hosts. Cas were nowhere near good enough in their loss to Hull KR last week and they look like they have it all to do to add to their two league wins so far this season. Either side could prevail here but preference has to be for Trinity based on how they’ve played of late.
