• Warrington Wolves did not completely hit their straps before the season was temporarily suspended but they did end with consecutive wins and were impressive in their win over Hull FC in their final game.
• The Wolves were anticipated to compete for honours on all fronts this season after they were able to pair Gareth Widdop with Blake Austin in the halves but more will be expected from those two on the resumption.
• Head coach Steve Price has a relatively healthy squad to choose from as he welcomes back Matty Ashton and Jack Hughes back into fold while young forward Samy Kibula will be hoping to debut but Ben Murdoch-Masila is sidelined.

• Hull KR managed to win just one of their opening six matches before the season was brought to a halt and they will be relieved that relegation is off the table with Toronto Wolfpack pulling out of the competition.
• Rovers can now play without any pressure and head coach Tony Smith will use this new-found freedom to assess which of his out-of-contract players he would like to keep on for next season.
• All 11 out-of-contract players have been named in the 21-man squad for this clash but that means no place for Robbie Mulhern who is left on the sidelines while Harvey Livett, Greg Minikin and Anesu Mudoti all miss out through injury.

THE PREDICTION

Warrington Wolves and Hull KR will restart make their reappearance in Super League as they go head-to-head in their first game back in action. The pair have very different ambitions this term with Warrington hoping to make it to the Grand Final while Hull KR have made it clear that this will be a chance for him to assess his squad with the aim of avoiding finishing at the bottom of the pile. The play-offs are not out of the question for Rovers but they would have to start on a positive note and put some long winning streaks together and with a tough first game here, they look set to be outclassed with the Wolves able to win by at least 16 points.
