THE PREDICTION
This match has all the hallmarks to be one of the most competitive games of round eight as the Rabbitohs face off against the Sea Eagles. While the Rabbitohs are coming off a narrow loss to Wests and sit on a 3-4 record, the Sea Eagles are 4-3 and also went down to the Sharks by 12 points last week. South Sydney have a couple of absentees as Hame Sele and Jacob Host are out injured while Taane Milne is suspended. Team news is a bit more positive for the Sea Eagles who welcome a couple of players back into the fold. That will boost them and after winning their previous four games, they will look to get back to winning ways here. With a 4.5-point start, the marginal preference has to go with the Manly Sea Eagles to cover that if not win.
