ST. GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS

  • St. George Illawarra Dragons will hope the appointment of Shane Flanagan can turn their fortunes around having finished last year just one place off the bottom of the ladder.
  • Their roster is seriously lacking quality and they start this season as wooden spoon favourites with Flanagan placing faith in son Kyle to guide his new side around the park with Ben Hunt.

THE PREDICTION

Gold Coast Titans could be dark horses this season with Des Hasler at the helm of a strong roster. There is plenty of young talent for Hasler to work with, as well as some older heads to guide them. That quality under the right guidance could cause problems for plenty of teams, not least St. George Illawarra Dragons. The away side have it all to do to avoid finishing bottom of the pile this season and the hosts can highlight their problems by claiming a relatively straightforward victory here.

TIP: GOLD COAST TITANS -6
