THE TEAM NEWS

CRONULLA SHARKS

  • Cronulla Sharks were brilliant as they dismantled North Queensland Cowboys last week with their ball movement proving too much for their opponents to deal with.
  • The Sharks have been steadily improving of late and their third win in-a-row saw them post 44 points but they have been hit by the loss of Braden Hamlin-Uele after he suffered an MCL injury last time out.

Starting 13: Kennedy, Katoa, Ramien, Talakai, Mulitalo, Moylan, Hynes, Kaufusi, Brailey, Hunt, Nikora, Wilton, Finucane – Interchanges: McInnes, Williams, Graham, Hazelton – Reserves: Trindall, Tracey, Colquhoun, Hiroti, Berrell

Unavailable: Kade Dykes (Injured), Toby Rudolf (Injured), Braden Hamlin-Uele (Injured)

DOLPHINS

  • The Dolphins lost out to Canberra Raiders in controversial fashion last week as Wayne Bennett’s side were edged in golden point of a thrilling contest.
  • They will be desperate to respond here but it will be a tough task against the Sharks and they come into this without Ray Stone after he suffered a head knock against the Raiders.

Starting 13: Tabuai-Fidow, Isaako, Aitken, B. Lee, Niu, Nikorima, Katoa, J. Bromwich, Marshall-King, K. Bromwich, Kaufusi, Lemuelu, Gilbert – Interchanges: Wallace, Milford, Teague, Ese’ese – Reserves: Donoghoe, Faamausili, Donoghue, E. Lee, Te Whare, Collins

Unavailable: Sean O’Sullivan (Injured), Mark Nicholls (Injured), Ray Stone (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Cronulla Sharks have won their last three games and will take some beating on current form. They are performing well and produced some quality moments on both sides of the ball as they ran out big winners over North Queensland Cowboys last week. The Dolphins will not be an easy opponent to overcome but they have lacked consistency of late and with that in mind, preference is for the Sharks to improve on their winning streak.
