THE TEAM NEWS
CANTERBURY BULLDOGS
- After their humiliating loss to Newcastle Knights in what was their fourth loss in-a-row, Canterbury Bulldogs responded brilliantly last week by getting the better of South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Starting 13: Averillo, Wilson, Burns, Kiraz, Addo-Carr, Burton, Sexton, King, Mahoney, Faitala-Mariner, Topine, Preston, Waddell – Interchanges: Flanagan, Morrin, Pangai Jnr., Okunbor – Reserves: Brown, Skelton, Hoffman, Alamoti, Patolo

BRISBANE BRONCOS
- Brisbane Broncos bounced back from their loss to Gold Coast Titans as they claimed a win over the Dolphins last week, making it four wins from their last five matches.
- The Broncos were not at their best in that game yet they did enough to get the job done but they have suffered a huge blow ahead of this game with key prop Payne Haas ruled out with an ankle knock while Corey Oates has also suffered an injury and will not feature despite being named in the side on Tuesday.
Starting 13: Sailor, Oates, Staggs, Farnworth, Cobbo, Mam, Reynolds, Palasia, Walters, Jensen, Capewell, Piakura, Hetherington – Interchanges: Smoothy, Willison, Arthars, Taupau – Reserves: Mariner, Carrigan, Madden, Hoeter, Pereira
Unavailable: Thomas Flegler (Injured), Jordan Riki (Injured), Reece Walsh (Suspended), Payne Haas (Injured), Corey Oates (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
Canterbury Bulldogs ended their four-game losing streak by getting the better of South Sydney Rabbitohs last week but this will be a much tougher assignment having faced a severely under-manned outfit in that clash. They now take on a Brisbane Broncos side battling it out to be minor premiers and come into this having won four of their last five. They are missing some key players but they look a lot stronger than the Bulldogs and having won the past four clashes between the two, Brisbane are fancied to come out on top once again.
