THE PREDICTION

Canberra Raiders suffered their first loss in four games as they were beaten by league leaders Penrith Panthers and this is now a huge game in their quest to make the top eight. The Raiders will be without head coach Ricky Stuart following his controversial outburst at the conclusion of last week’s loss and that could make things tricky in what they will view as a must-win contest. St. George Illawarra Dragons need to win to stay in touch with the teams above having won just one of their last five after going down to Cronulla Sharks but having lost their last three matchups at GIO Stadium against the Raiders, the hosts are the slight preference here.
