THE PREDICTION
Brisbane Broncos will need to be much better and a lot more consistent in 2022 if they are to make a push for the finals. That has been the talk out of Red Hill with a couple of impressive off-season additions attempting to change the culture at the club. However, one of those signings will be missing for this opening fixture with Adam Reynolds unable to take to the field against his former club. South Sydney Rabbitohs finished as runners-up last year after losing out in a hard-fought Grand Final but with aspirations to make the showpiece once again, the away side will be eager to get off to a strong start and they should be able to do just that by covering the -5.5 handicap.
