THE PREDICTION
Game I of the 2021 State of Origin series was a one-sided affair as
New South Wales blitzed Queensland what was a humiliating loss for the
home side. The Blues earned a record-breaking 50-6 success and they will
be eager to wrap the series up at Suncorp, although they will have to
put their poor record on this ground behind them if they are to do so.
The Maroons have made plenty of changes to their side with several
enforced and that disruption is unlikely to aid their quest to bounce
back. The Blues on the other hand have made just one change and after
such a dominant performance in game I, it would be a surprise if they
failed to come out on top by at least 12 points in this one.
