Despite having already played a lot of Tennis in Roland Garros across these past few days, the youth exuberance and high fitness levels of Carlos Alcaraz should see him in good condition ahead of this latest test. Tallon Griekspoor was also a winner in the doubles as well as the first round of singles, but faces the biggest challenge arguably of his career here.
Ultimately, the class of Alcaraz is likely to tell early on, with his all-round brilliance proving too strong for Griekspoor to handle. Any outcome other than victory for Alcaraz by straight sets would be seen as a big surprise.
